Relax and explore the facility itself or browse among the many foreshore shops and cafes, while soaking up the sun, surf and sand.
As an all-season Conference and Retreat Centre CYC The Island caters for 200+ guests in two separate accommodation areas , each offering centrally heated ensuited rooms and separate air-conditioning dining, function, meeting and indoor recreation areas, removing the need to share, and ensuring the privacy and comfort of all guests.
While quality catering by experienced chefs is a feature of this facility, smaller groups may be offered the use of the well equipped modern kitchen and dining room as a self catering option.
The Island’s qualified and experienced staff can assist in facilitating the on-site activities as well as outings to the various world-renowned natural and tourist attractions including the Penguin Parade, Koala Conservation Centre, The Nobbies coastal environment and historical homesteads.
Onsite activities include, low-ropes course, Giant Swing, Indoor Climbing Wall, Solar heated 18mt Swimming Pool, Flying Fox and Archery, while Basketball, Volleyball & Tennis can be enjoyed outdoors or in using CYC’s full sized indoor sports complex. Two ovals cater for team sports. More Passive Activities such as pool or table tennis can be enjoyed at anytime in the main function room.
